Having our wedding at Hacienda Chuntuac was truly magical for us. The hacienda is incredible, and all the different spaces we used made our wedding even more amazing! From the very first day we visited, we didn’t look at any other options. We knew Chuntuac was the place for us from the start. The service and attention to detail are also outstanding. The team is always attentive, available, and ready to help with anything we need.

When we visited three months before the wedding, we got to learn about its history and experience all of its charm. The entire Hacienda Chuntuac team was incredibly kind, helpful, and professional throughout the process. Everything was wonderful on our wedding day, and the hacienda was the perfect place to celebrate with our friends and family who traveled all the way to Mérida for the occasion. We celebrated our wedding at Hacienda Chuntuac, and it was absolutely beautiful! It feels like you’re right in the middle of the jungle. The hacienda has so many different gardens and spaces—you couldn’t fill them all even if you tried!

From the moment we walked through the main entrance, we fell in love with the place. I grew up in southern Spain, so the Moorish arches in the Main House felt especially meaningful to me. And the owner, Betina, is absolutely wonderful. I think it’s safe to say that when she explained that Chuntuac means “beginning” in Maya, we knew this was where we would get married. There are so many different spaces throughout the property that you can truly make your wedding day exactly what you want it to be! We got married on March 1 of this year, and it was magical. Everyone is still talking about it. Being able to spend our wedding night there and wake up to the sound of birds was the perfect way to end the experience. Well, actually, booking a couples massage in our suite the next morning was the perfect way to end it! We’re already thinking about coming back for our first anniversary. Our wedding was this past Saturday, February 28, 2026, at Hacienda Chuntuac. After a year of planning, the entire Chuntuac team was there to guide us every step of the way and was always so helpful. The hacienda is beautiful, with a magical atmosphere surrounded by nature. There are so many different spaces for photos and for setting up the event. Everything turned out absolutely spectacular!!
